Autobooks run at the same time when opening the browser

Hi Bardeen team,

I have some scheduled autobooks running everyday at night with sequence (every one of them running at different time), and I used to open my computer 24 hours to keep them running, but recently I switch my setting to let my computer open only at night to save the power.

I found those autobooks runs all of a sudden when the computer and the browser start, and because there are more than 30 of them, and all of them are multi-step background scraping, so my computer open so many windows and being too lag to operate.

I tried close my browser and turned it on again, so does my computer, and it’s the same.

I even tried logout Bardeen, reinstall the extension, and still the same.

When the moment I login, all the autobooks start running…

Now I have not close my computer in browser more than 24 hours, and those audiobook just not stop running…

I don’t even know how to close them because the moment I open up, all of them start running, and I can’t even click the switch to close the autobooks.

It’s really strange, I haven’t edited those autobook for a long time, I don’t know what’s wrong with them, please give me some hint what’s going on :confounded:

When a scheduled autobook misses its designated run time, it will automatically execute as soon as your computer and browser are available. Based on your description, it seems that when your computer starts up at night, it triggers all the missed autobooks to run at once, causing the lag.

Unfortunately, there isn’t currently an option to reschedule or delay these missed runs. To avoid this issue, I recommend adjusting your computer’s availability settings so that it turns on before the first autobook is scheduled to run. This should help ensure that the autobooks run at their intended times without overwhelming your system.
