Crunchbase Investor List Scraping

Hi,

I am scraping Crunchbase data to Notion. The automation is working, however, I am missing some important facts, e.g. the investors.

See the playbook: Shared Playbook Template

See for example the investor list of OpenAI (e.g., Sequia, Founders Fund etc.): https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/openai/company_financials

I am missing this part because of the presentation as table.
Do you have an idea to scrape this type of data?

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Best regards,
Leon

Hi Leon,

Would you be able to share your playbook so we could take a closer look?

Looking forward to your reply.

For sure: Shared Playbook Template

Hi Leon,

Thank you for sharing the playbook! I see that Investors are provided in a separate table and there’s no pre-built scraper for that. Would you like to scrape investors into a different Notion database? I can try to build the scraper for you, but I need more information on the desired output.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you for your response. I would like to add the investors to the same database as all the other information. A new column will be added where I can associate the investors with their respective companies. The element would look like this:: Investor 1, Investor 2, Investor 3…

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Kind regards,
Leon
