Not enough credits after just subscribing to pro?

Hi Folks,
I built an automated playbook and got it working in test (it’s a scraper for linkedin), but then subscribed under the PRO category, and when i went to run the playbook, it said I didn’t have enough credits. Even though I had double the credits compared to the discrete data item I needed for each row. Any advice? I would like to cancel my subscription as a result as having to use this many credits means it’s no longer viable.

Thanks Bardeen team. I would like to request a refund of my 1 month subscription paid today as the service has not functioned as I’ve hoped, using 6000 credits in just 5 mins. I no longer feel the solution is viable for me. Please confirm receipt and next steps re refund as convenient. Thanks in advance.

Hi Colin,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. I’ve reviewed your account activity and can confirm that our logs show you ran two automations, which consumed 9,500 credits and 28,457 credits, respectively. This exceeds the 6,000 credits included in your monthly subscription plan and reflects substantial usage within a short period.

Regarding your refund request: As per our Terms & Conditions, we do not offer refunds for subscriptions or credits once they have been utilized. Since the credits included in your plan were not only fully consumed but significantly exceeded, a refund is unfortunately not possible.
We understand that this may not align with your expectations, and we’d be happy to assist in optimizing your automations to make them more efficient for your use case. Bardeen is designed to handle powerful automation workflows, and sometimes adjusting settings or understanding credit usage can help prevent unnecessary overconsumption.

If you’d like, I’d be happy to work with you to review your setup and explore ways to ensure your automations are optimized for your needs. Please let me know how I can assist further.

Best regards,
Victoria

Hi Victoria,

This could be the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with Bardeen, but having exhausted hours trying to understand your playbooks, processes and at times contradictory language (to a non-tech person), the only way I can see this viably working is if we can get my LinkedIn email scraping down to 1 or max 2 credits per row (4600 rows approx).

I would very much welcome your offer of assistance to walk through the playbook and my logic in an attempt to optimise this. Would a zoom or teams call work for you? I’m in Sydney Australia.
