Description of the issue:

I keep building out new actions in my Playbook - save - and then when I go to run the playbook - the changes are undone. It started happening once in a while - but now it is every day. I have tried everything from saving every step - to waiting a day and trying again but the issue is consistent.

Please provide a detailed account of the steps taken to encounter the issue. Where did you start? What actions did you perform? Where did you encounter the error?

I open my playbook in builder mode - try to add a new action like get google sheet - or run scraper in active tab - finish setting it up - hit save - try running - open builder again - and its undone.

Hi there! Sorry to hear you’re running into this issue.

Can you please try updating to the latest version of Bardeen to see if that resolves the issue? Otherwise, we will escalate this to our engineering team.

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
  2. Navigate to your extensions page by either:
    ◦ Opening a new tab and typing chrome://extensions into the address bar.
    ◦ Clicking on the three-dot icon at the top right corner of the browser, selecting “More tools,” and then “Extensions”.
  3. Enable “Developer mode” by toggling the switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.
  4. Once Developer mode is enabled, additional options will appear on the page. Look for the Bardeen extension, Click Details and click the “Update” button.
    This will force Chrome to download and install any available updates for Bardeen.

I have exactly the same issue. I updated the extension to 2.55.0, but still have this issue. I edit my playbook, close it. once I re-open, the previous version of the playbook is there, not the one I saved.

It also happens when i press save progress.

Any other thoughts how to fix this?

Deleting cookies seems to help. IS there a way around this? Deleting cookies after every change is a bit frustrating. Any suggestions are welcome.

@francis deleting cookies after updating the playbook did work for me. For you too?

I created a new playbook, same feature with the previous one and it works for me! haha
