I am trying to use the 'Enrich list of companies with LinkedIn Company and Employee Data" but I am running into an issue where it does not enrich the employee tab with all of the employees at the company. I have tried using the builder to increase the number of extractions, but still wasn’t getting all the employees. I know it can’t get data from private profiles. I noticed also that in the builder the scraper template is “LinkedIn people you may know (by Bardeen)”. Maybe that is the issue since it only extracts people I may know? I can’t seem to change it to anything that solves my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Hey aden! Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with the ‘Enrich list of companies with LinkedIn Company and Employee Data’ automation.
This automation is very particular, since you need to run it in a specific way. You’ll need a psreadsheet containing the company names that this automation will query, scrape and update.
Just to confirm, have you made sure that you have a spreadsheet with the company names? That’s an important requirement for this automation to work.
To better assist you, would it be possible for you to record a loom video showing how you’re running the automation? That way, we can get a better understanding of the problem and provide you with a more accurate solution. Looking forward to your response and we’ll do our best to help you out!
Hi Ivan,
Yes I have made the spreadsheet correctly. I have used the automation a few times and it works. The problem is that I used it on a company that has 50-100 employees and it only returned 5 employees on the extra sheet it creates. I then used the builder to increase the amount of employees but still some of them don’t come up. I could send a loom recording tomorrow if that may help.
Hi Ivan,
Is there an email address or another place I could reach you to try and find a solution to the problem I am facing?
Hi Aden, this is the place for it
We’ll need details like the automation link, and the loom can be useful to check what’s wrong.
I’ll double check with the team if there’s an issue with this automation.
Hi Ivan,
Here is the Loom recording I took using the automation: https://www.loom.com/share/e2408f7290a7473995a6e1c38095ff9b
As you can see in the recording, the company has 36 employees but not all of them were included in the “Employee” tab that the automation creates.
When you say you need the automation link, what do you mean?
Let me know if there is anything else I can give you, and thank you for the help.
Hey Aden!
Thanks for sharing the Loom recording, that’s really helpful. I checked the video and it seems like the automation is working, but the scraper is not able to scrape all the results for LinkedIn Login, Sign in | LinkedIn.
We’ll check on the scraper template. In the meantime, you can try to build your own scraper for the people page following our tutorial on Tutorial: How to use Bardeen scraper | Bardeen.ai.
Let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.
Thanks! - Ivan
Hi Ivan,
Yes that sounds right. I noticed the scraper template is called “LinkedIn people you may know”. I wonder if maybe it’s only taking the people it considers as people I may know, and not everyone. That is why not everyone is returned. Does that sound right? I didn’t see another template that would solve my problem but I can explore more.
Hey @aden thanks for reporting this, unfortunately we couldn’t reliably reproduce this issue, it happens to me twice, but then I couldn’t reproduce it at all how many times I tried, unfortuantely with a reliable reproduction it might not be easy to debug this case.
One thing that you can try doing:
- Ensure you are on the latest version of Bardeen ensure you are on v 2.26.1.
- Try adding custom delay to the automation
Please let us know if that fixes the issue, you should expect to get all 36 results back.
Also please try same automation with Active tab Scraping command and keep us posted please.
Hi Ivan,
Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately, my trial expired so I am unable to try that fix. Is there any way I could an extension on the trial to see if it works properly before I decide if I want to upgrade to premium?
