Combining numerous Google Drive files into one new Google Doc

Hi team,
I am attempting to create an automation that copies the contents of numerous files in a Google Drive folder (and nested sub-folders) and pasts it all into a single new Google Doc.
Not having much luck - is this possible?

Can I sign up to receive a notification when Bardeen can copy from docs and slides?

We can already copy from pdf in G-Drive right? If not, that would be an excellent feature too.
