I run Bardeen autobooks that periodically take website screenshots and send a pdf file of the screenshot to my Slack. Yesterday my autobooks quit working after updating chrome. There was a message in Bardeen that the linkage between the extension and Slack had expired. I tried to reauthorize and set up my autobooks again but when I click connect to Slack, I receive the message:
Something went wrong when authorizing this app.
Try going back and authorizing again. If problems persist, contact support for help.

invalid_team_for_non_distributed_app
Unfortunately, Slack’s help center is currently unavailable and won’t be back until the new year. I googled invalid_team_for_non_distributed_app and it showed results like this from github
The screenshot error in this github issue is the same error that I see when I try to relink Bardeen with Slack. The issue in the github link above seems to stem from someone signing into the wrong Slack workspace. However, I only have one workspace. I also tried to reconnect Bardeen to Slack by trying to add Bardeen through the Slack app directory but the extension is not there. I am totally lost and don’t know how to fix this issue.
Sorry to hear you’re encountering this. Could you please try updating your version of Bardeen to the latest version (2.40.1)?
Here’s how you can update your version of Bardeen:
Open the Google Chrome browser.
Navigate to your extensions page by either:
◦ Opening a new tab and typing chrome://extensions into the address bar.
◦ Clicking on the three-dot icon at the top right corner of the browser, selecting “More tools,” and then “Extensions”.
Enable “Developer mode” by toggling the switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.
Once Developer mode is enabled, additional options will appear on the page. Look for the Bardeen extension, Click Details and click the “Update” button.
This will force Chrome to download and install any available updates for Bardeen.

I already am using the latest version of Bardeen (2.40.1) and having this issue:
Something went wrong when authorizing this app.
Try going back and authorizing again. If problems persist, contact support for help.
I only have one Slack account and one workspace. I tried linking a different company’s app to Slack and it worked but trying to link Bardeen with Slack just keeps returning the invalid_team_for_non_distributed_app error.
