Description of the issue:

in the TEAM playbook screen, you cannot open the builder, share or delete, copy, duplicate Autobooks. I think it has to do with the extremely long URL. I was able to move autobooks from my space to the team space to edit and not able to do that now. I have uninstalled and installed the Bardeen app twice but thats not working.

For example: I tried to run a Salesforce automation to create contacts from LinkedIn, but encountered an error. The automation was unsuccessful.

How to get Bardeen error messages?

Bardeen usually provides error messages. These help us solve the issue faster. You can check them by:

  1. Opening Bardeen extension
  2. On the right top corner, next to your profile image👤, you’ll find an icon for history: :file_cabinet:. Click it.
  3. Then check the Errors tab. Copy the relevant bug to your case
    (Ex: if you ran a salesforce automation, copy the salesforce issue).:point_down:

Steps to reproduce this issue:

Please provide a detailed account of the steps taken to encounter the issue. Where did you start? What actions did you perform? Where did you encounter the error?

Ex: I pinned this salesforce automation to my app, connected salesforce and then ran it over this linkedin profile. I received the error message and have been unable to resolve it.

Great news ! The problem you encountered previously is now fixed in our latest version of Bardeen - 2.46.

Please try updating your version of Bardeen and let me know if you’re still facing the same issue.

Here’s how you can update your version of Bardeen:

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
  2. Navigate to your extensions page by either:
    ◦ Opening a new tab and typing chrome://extensions into the address bar.
    ◦ Clicking on the three-dot icon at the top right corner of the browser, selecting “More tools,” and then “Extensions”.
  3. Enable “Developer mode” by toggling the switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.
  4. Once Developer mode is enabled, additional options will appear on the page. Look for the Bardeen extension, Click Details and click the “Update” button.
    This will force Chrome to download and install any available updates for Bardeen.

I am in developer mode and it appears I have the 2.46 version installed now.

I still have the same issue in that the long URL seems to be problematic.

I have activated and deactivated the Autobook.

I have also tried to resize the tab. See screen shots below.

Hey Lucy,

I have deleted and reinstalled the Bardeen extension and can confirm I have installed 2.48.0. Developer Mode is on. See Screen shots. And I was able to delete the problem playbook. Consider this case closed. Great work.

Thanks for all your help. I am working through a problem playbook now. I decided to start from scratch with a new scraper to see if I can isolate the issue. I will be sending a Loom video over if I can’t figure it out and point out in the scraper steps what is Not happening.

I have a new issue, do I need to get a new ticket?

I am using an auto-book and I am getting a field “cut off” as I don’t know how to go in and do the advanced portion of “looking for the right tag” in the code and manually telling Bardeen to scrape the entire text box.

I am getting a field cut off that I need for my workflow- see Loom. Ideally, In the scraping, I need some help to ensure I get the entire contents of the text box. I think the solution is going into the advanced uses and telling Bardeen to scrape the entire text box.

Ideally, I could keep the formatting as well in the scraping.

Ideas?
