Unresponsive playbooks, builder not opening

Description of the issue:

My playbooks are never finishing and the builder wont open

Error message (if aplicable):

Bardeen engine is not responding on time. Try refreshing your current window or restarting your browser.

I tried running my playbooks today, but none of them brought back any results.
It just stayed in “execution finished” and never went away.
so I tried opening it in the builder but it wont open, I tried logging out and back in but it didn’t help.
I never had this problem before!

What should I do???

After consulting with our engineering team, it appears there isn’t a general problem on our end. Sometimes, these errors can occur if your browser’s performance is compromised, which can affect Bardeen’s functionality. Typically, a full browser restart (not just the extension) can resolve this issue. From your screenshots, it seems like multiple playbooks were running simultaneously, which could be impacting your browser’s performance.

Could you please try restarting your browser and let us know if this resolves the problem?

I tried restarting everything!
It still wont work, this is really frustrating!
I am on a paid version why is this happening?!

As I understand it, before you were able to successfully use the platform and problem appeared just now. May I ask if you are running Bardeen from within a corporate network (where a Proxy and/or Firewall is used)? Did anything change in your environment, were any new extensions or apps installed? I re-read all your emails and it seems you tried restarting everything, did you also try removing the extension and installing it back?

correct I removed the extension and reinstalled it.
Nothing changed except the before I was still on trial mode, and I liked it so I upgraded!

But a day later everything stopped working.

No new apps were installed or proxies for that matter, I even tried using the extension on a different computer with the same account but still nothing


I also tried duplicating the playbook or creating new ones and it doesn’t work.
The only thing that works is I create a new playbook and add a scraper but the moment I want to add an action it glitches!

Also, did I mention that none of the playbooks builders open up?

Can I get customer support on the phone or something?
I really want to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Our engineers have identified that the issue stems from your Smartsuite connection. It seems that Smartsuite is overwhelming Bardeen with errors related to rate limits. According to their website, your Smartsuite account might even be blocked at this point, which is causing these errors: Smartsuite API Overview

REST API LimitsIn order to ensure that SmartSuite services are stable and secure, we place limits on both total requests and the rate of those requests.You are permitted a maximum of 5 requests per second, per user. Requests over your API request limit (per your plan) will be limited to 2 requests per second, per user. Requests made that exceed 200% of your monthly request limit will be denied until the start of the next month.

The specific structure of responses from Smartsuite is affecting your Bardeen account. We are working on adapting our systems to better handle these errors. In the meantime, you should be able to resolve the issue by disconnecting this Smartsuite account. If you will be willing to use Smartsuite again, we can help you implement a delay for automations in order to prevent hitting rate limits.

I dont think this is the problem, I tried changing accounts in smartsuite and it still wont connect normally, and besides I really didnt use a lot of api calls tops maybe 5 a day!
But lets say this is the problem why wont it connect to A different smartsuite account?

Any update on this?
I really want my playbooks to work, none of them are opening up in the builder!

I would like to post an update here that the issue was resolved by upgrading the Smartsuite account to release the api limits.
