My Autobook keeps loading for ages, any way you can help me activate it?

Would it be possible to receive support? I used to be on Slack, but that has been discontinued right? So first time trying this, not sure if i’m doing anything wrong. Cheers!

I see that your Bardeen extension is experiencing difficulties running at the moment. Also you are on a slightly old version, so as first step I’d recommend you update the extension to the latest version and restart the browser.

From your screenshot, it looks like the automation has Slack and Airtable actions included. At the same time our logs show that these connections have invalid tokens. Could you please re-connect the apps and try afterwards?

Hi Victoria,

Thanks a lot! I reinstalled Bardeen, did not fix it. I duplicated and deleted the autobook which is not being able to activate. Then tried again, did not work. Now the now one is loading indefinitely.

I also tried to cut the autobook in half as it has 100 actions. Also the one with 50 actions will not activate.

It’s odd you see that the Slack and Airtable integrations have invalid tokens as I did use it this morning using a Playbook which does work.

Also it doesn’t say for me these are invalid →

The autobook which I want to activate, I also have as active Playbook, the playbook works, but I want it fully automated. Is there a way to just run a playbook every day?

Any other tips? Thaaaanks!!

Perhaps I will escalate this issue to our engineers, your guess may be correct that it does not want to initialize such a big autobook, but I don’t have anything to adivse on this matter.

What about restarting the browser, did you have a chance to try? One of the errors states that extension is experiencing difficulties communicating with your browser. Also if you have many extensions running in the browser, I think you can try creating a different Chrome profile and only run Bardeen there. This resolves performance issues for many users.

Escalated! I will keep you informed with updates Niels. In the meantime my only suggestion is to run a playbook version of the automation manually.

Thank you for updating me here. I was about to reach out to you since I also noticed the automation ON in your account. Our engineers still checked the case and found out that somehow duplicate requests were sent from your end when you were turning it on, so the system considered it as sequence of ON/OFF requests, hence the trouble. I asked to add some protection from this kind of behaviour.

Besides that they were not able to trace any issue. Please observe how it goes and let us know if the same happens again.
