I just logged into Bardeen and all my Playbooks are no longer visible. An error message is appearing at the bottom of my screen saying as follows:
“The playbook you’re trying to execute cannot be adapted to the most recent version of Bardeen. It will continue working for now, but it might break in the future. It is recommended to rebuild it.”
This appeared as soon as I logged in (not when trying to run a playbook).
Our sincerest apologies for this problem. Our engineers are working on the fix as we speak. But I’m afraid that adding a fix will require a release through Chrome store. I am trying to get ETA for you.
I have always previously used Bardeen via Microsoft Edge (as when I first started I couldn’t get it to work on Chrome). So the issue I reported was in an Edge browser. Then when you mentioned needing a Chrome Store update, that made me think about testing using Chrome again. I signed in using Chrome and it all worked fine. The issue appears to be specific to Edge. So from my perspective, I’m OK now to just use Chrome. However, do let me know if you fix the Edge issue and I will be happy to help you test it.
Thanks Artem. This works for me in Chrome now (which is fine for me). There’s still a problem in Edge though, just in case you have other users accessing from Edge.
We appreciate you getting back to us with this clarification. Indeed we have this issue as a bug to fix, yet I do not see anyone else reporting the same and that makes me believe the issue is highly isolated. Now I got a clue that it’s only for Edge users and we don’t have many of those.
Happy to know that you are unblocked! Still I am tracking the updates and as soon as there’s a release, I will be the one to inform you here.
