Subject: Bug Report for Data Enrichment Workflow in Bardeen.ai

Dear Bardeen.ai Support Team,

I am writing to you to report a bug that I have encountered while using your platform for data enrichment. I am facing an issue in the third action of the scraping process when I attempt to add new data into a row of Google Sheets.

Specifically, when I select the option to add a new row to Google Sheets and then try to input the prospect of outreach, I am not receiving any feedback. This is not the first time I’ve encountered this issue, and although I’ve tried to find alternative solutions, the problem persists.

The bug is affecting the functionality and usability of your platform, and it does not align with the instructions shown in your tutorial videos. I believe it is important to bring this to your attention so that the problem can be addressed appropriately and promptly.

I truly appreciate the convenience and capabilities your platform offers, and I believe resolving this bug will significantly improve the user experience for myself and others going through a similar process.

I look forward to hearing from you soon and hope to see a resolution to this issue promptly.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hi there, Welcome to the Bardeen Community

I’m not convinced this is a bug yet, have you tried the following?

  • select the tab of you google sheet in the action
  • mapping the scraped data to the Google sheet in the action

Hi Trustworth,

Thanks for sharing your issue and sorry to hear you’re facing this. It looks like Bardeen is unable to find the Google Sheet you are trying to update and hence hasn’t mapped the data from the scraper to the google sheet action. When you open the add rows to Google Sheet action, there should be a drop down of the list of sheets on your Google Sheets account, and once you select an existing sheet, it will appear with a purple box around it (as in my video). I’m assuming you would like to add rows to a sheet that exists in your Google drive already.

Here is how you can troubleshoot, check that you have integrated Bardeen with the same Google account that this sheet is in. If you are trying to create a new sheet with that name, you will instead need to choose the Create Google Sheet option when you set up the Add rows action.
