I’m facing an issue with the Data Enrichment feature, which I find very useful. I’ve followed the tutorial video instructions for LinkedIn scraping without any problems. However, I’m encountering challenges when trying to scrape data from another information page.
Here’s what I’ve done:
Created a new playbook.
Added the necessary links.
Selected the option to scrape data in the background.
Attempted to find all links in the text by the URL.
Tried to scrape multiple columns of information.
When prompted to scrape all information from the table, I clicked “Yes.”
Created a new action to add rows to a Google Sheet.
I selected the original file in Google Sheets, but I couldn’t map the data correctly to fit the table I created.
Could you please provide a solution?
Please also see my video below about my issue that i am facing.
This is the page i want to scrap- there have more than 1 page that I would need to scrap:
I could see the sheet for you to take a look if necessary.
To provide you with the best assistance, could you please share your playbook with us? You can do this by following the instructions in the screenshot below.
It seems that during the setup of your scraper, the system mistakenly identified a table on the website and prompted you to scrape it as such. For your specific needs, it’s better to set up the scraper as a List and define the fields you want to extract. Once you share your playbook or the website link you’re working with, I’ll be able to record the steps for you.
The problem you are facing is caused by the incorrect scraper, it is not possible to map a table to individual columns of a google sheet. If you use a List scraper as I suggested, you can map the fields:
The only thing is that I could not name the fields, you can adjust the scraper and name them here:
