Outlook integration failed

Description of the issue:

I tried to connect my Outlook account, which failed and fails every time. Other automation softwares are able to integrate my Outlook just fine, so this is a Bardeen specific issue.

Error message:

MicrosoftGraph get user: Authorization_RequestDenied (403) MicrosoftGraph failed to get user: Insufficient privileges to complete the operation. (403):

Steps to reproduce this issue:

I prompted Bardeen to create outlook automation for the first time. Bardeen asked me to connect Outlook. The MS O365 login window was briefly shown, and I saw it was the right email address. Next, I clicked to consent on behalf of my organization after which I saw the the error message. Retrying the connection seems to results as some kind of a loop, which does show briefly the MS O365 login window without me being able to interact, but instead jumps straight into the error message without showing the consent screen. After deleting cookies the behavior was the same.

Bardeen version: 2.68.0

Hi Lasse,

Apologies for the inconveniences. As far as I know, our Outlook integration is designed to work with personal Outlook accounts and in case of connecting a corporate one, there may be some issues. I will be forwarding the case to our engineers for checking, could you please confirm if you are using a personal account or a corporate one?

Looking forward to your reply.
Victoria

Hi Victoria,

I haven’t been able to integrate either my personal or work Outlook accounts with Bardeen. Any insights on resolving this issue would be much appreciated. Please advise. Thank you.

Best regards,
