Meeter Notifications

Hello,

I’m using Meeter and I love it. One thing that doesn’t work for me though is the notifications. In Meeter’s Advanced configuration there are options for Notifications. In my app they are turned on but I don’t get any notifications.

In my System Settings for Notifications I can’t see Meeter in the list of apps that send notifications.

How do I get notifications working for Meeter?

Thanks!

Per Chat GPT:
To enable notifications for Meeter on your Mac, follow these steps:

  1. Verify Meeter’s Notification Settings:
  • Open the Meeter app.
  • Navigate to Meeter’s preferences or settings.
  • Ensure that notifications are enabled within the app.
  1. Check System Notification Settings:
  • Click on the Apple menu and select “System Settings” (or “System Preferences” on older macOS versions).
  • Go to “Notifications.”
  • Scroll through the list of applications to find “Meeter.”
  • If Meeter is listed, ensure that notifications are allowed.
  • If Meeter is not listed, proceed to the next step.
  1. Reinstall Meeter:
  • Quit the Meeter app.
  • Delete the Meeter app from your Applications folder.
  • Download the latest version of Meeter from the official website:

  • Install Meeter by dragging it to your Applications folder.
  • Open Meeter and check if it now appears in the system’s notification settings.
  1. Grant Necessary Permissions:
  • Upon launching Meeter after reinstallation, you may be prompted to grant notification permissions.
  • Ensure you allow these permissions.
  • If not prompted, go to “System Settings” > “Privacy & Security” > “Notifications” and manually enable notifications for Meeter.

If, after following these steps, Meeter still doesn’t appear in the system’s notification settings or notifications aren’t functioning, consider reaching out to Meeter’s support team for further assistance.

I hope this helps!
