There are different drop down lists separated alphabetically at this website: https://www.wealthandfinance-news.com/winners-list/?award=18826-2023
What i need Bardeen to do is:
Click on each letter drop down list (iteration)
Scrape each company name and url within each Alphabet drop down list.
How do I do this???
After several attempts I can only get Bardeen to iterate over each dropdown list and scrape only the first item on each list (ignoring the rest of the company names in the group)
OR it scrapes the first company in the group repeatedly creating nothing but duplicates of the same information.
Hi Clifford,
Thanks so much for reaching out! There is actually an easier way to select all of the winners in this list which doesn’t involve individually clicking every single letter dropdown. You can use our custom advanced selector which allows you to choose a list based on its TagName.ClassName in the HTML structure of the page. You can always view the structure of the page using inspect element (F12) on your webpage. Below, I’ve linked a video demonstration of the playbook functioning properly and it also shows where you can input the custom selector in the future. Additionally, I’ve linked the playbook itself. Hope this helps and please let us know if you require any further assistance.
