Scrape the profile details of Instagram users followers

Hi,

  • I’m working on a project where I want to research the location of a users followers on IG
  • Lets say for example, I want to scrape kim Kardashian IG following into Google Sheets.
  • I want to capture her followers Name, Location, and website URL

Is this possible?

It is possible to capture followers, yet IG recently placed a limit on the amount of scrolling you can do to get followers, so it would be limited.

However, you can get a good data sample for each influencer you scrape.

You might not be able to scrape Kim’s millions, but you can scrape the latest 1000 and then get into each profile and get their Followers, Name, Location, and URL in the background.

Bardeen has some pre-built automations for Instagram follower scraping.

This one you can run on the follower’s link: Save Instagram following / followers to Google Sheets.

Yet, if you want to do the deep scraper, or you want to do this in bulk (for many profiles), you’ll need your own custom build scraping automations :slight_smile:

Yeah I’m currently getting 280 - 340 profiles - but I guess I have to manually get the bio information? I was hoping it would pull that automatically.

You could use our pre-built instagram profile scraper which scrapes the Instagram handle, Name, Profile Image, # Posts, # followers, description, profile URL.

You could combine this playbook with the ‘Save Instagram following / followers to Google Sheets’ to achieve your outcome. Unfortunately, I don’t think scraping a person’s location is an option on Instagram
