Scraping from TikTok seems to not be allowed if it's data gathered in a "automatic way". What are the risks and what should I consider?

This was a great question we got via email. Seems like it can be relevant to other users.

Response from @manvel, our Scraping Engineer:

Bardeen is a powerful automation workflow tool that can boost productivity, but it’s crucial to use it mindfully. When using this tool, it’s essential to keep in mind that scraping actions are generally safe, but bulk clicking and aggressive automation may result in temporary suspension of your account.

At Bardeen, we do our best to identify playbooks that may require user warnings so we can add them. However, it’s impossible to identify all cases as users operate on third-party websites with their browsers. Therefore, it’s advisable to use the tool mindfully and comply with website policies.

If you encounter any issues while using Bardeen, please let us know. Remember, regardless of the automation tool you use, it’s always a good idea to be mindful of your actions and comply with policies on third-party websites.
